We’ll meet out in front of Amante Coffee, Uptown, at the corner of Yarmouth and Broadway.  Sign up here.

TYPE: Urban Hike | PACE: Fitness | TERRAIN: Sidewalks, Multi-Use Paths, Dirt Trails | DISTANCE: Approx 12.4 miles |

Walk Description: Not up for the full Walk 360 Slow Marathon? Need more training miles? Then join us for this 12-mile, 180-degree adventure! The western half of the Boulder Walk 360 Slow Marathon links the North Boulder Art District with Wonderland Lake, North Boulder Park, Mapleton Hill, Chautuaqua Park, Shanahan Ridge, and the Table Mesa Shopping Center. We’ll take breaks along the way and have lunch together at the end. See this link for a map of the route: https://caltopo.com/m/HV0K

Schedule and Planning: We will meet at 8:00 am out in front of Amante Coffee Uptown. The cafe opens at 7 am, so arrive early to use the restroom and/or buy a coffee or tea. This urban hike is 12.4 miles, so it should take us about 5 hours to complete (with breaks). I suggest parking at the Table Mesa Shopping Center and taking the SKIP bus up Broadway to the starting place. Bus fare is $3, or $1.50 for people over 65. You can also take the bus back up to north Broadway after we finish at Table Mesa Shopping Center if you want to park at the starting place.
